Who we are
The 28th of January 1994 marked the founding of the Milan-based company SOLTEC Srl, and the launch of the mass production of the SONICA ultrasonic washing machines.
The engineering background of the two founding partners, who still lead the company today, has enabled it to produce one of the best and most widely- appreciated products in Italy and worldwide over the last 30 years.
The company is still based in Milan, the heart of the European Marketplace and a unique location for the promotion of innovation, creativity and style.
Even today, after 30 years, the two founders remain true to their

- Each piece of equipment is designed and constructed in Italy, with components of the very highest quality.
- In accordance with the relevant EU regulations, our SONICA equipment meets the rules of “non-preferential origin” and therefore bear the “Made in Italy” mark, which is a symbol of excellence across the world, setting Italian industrial production apart courtesy of its high quality, style and innovation.
We want to be #1 for electrical product safety
- The in-house production process includes strict electrical safety testing on 100 per cent of the products manufactured, in line with EN 61010-1, prior to product delivery.
- The company's quality process is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- As of May 2021, our SONICA ultrasonic cleaning equipment sold in the medical sector is classified as a Class I Medical Device, and as such, complies with the new European MDR Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

- Today, we are able to handle all customs-related, bureaucratic and certification requirements both before and after the sale, thanks to our experienced personnel.

We want to be #1 for our free warranty offering and our reliability
- We offer repairs under warranty at our headquarters or via our authorised distributors, as well as long-term out-of-warranty support, thanks to our well-stocked spare parts warehouse.
- We offer remote assistance and training courses for the technicians who are responsible for providing repair services.
- We offer the option of extending the warranty beyond the two-year standard period, by signing a special contract that reflects your requirements.
