Full range of SONICA® detergents and disinfectants

SOLTEC not only manufactures and markets ultrasonic equipment, however: it has also developed a range of detergents for different applications. These are particularly suited for use with its machines, and can therefore offer a comprehensive solution that comes with total peace of mind.

The detergents in the SONICA® range have been designed to enable optimal propagation of the ultrasonic waves, guaranteeing thorough, in-depth cleaning and disinfection. The range features detergents and disinfectant solutions for removing all kinds of residues from all kinds of surfaces.

Directly formulated in the SOLTEC labs, the detergents in the SONICA range can also be made according to custom formulas that are tailored to individual customer requirements, and to remove specific types of contaminant.

All SONICA® detergents are designed for professional use only, and are subject to laboratory tests that ensure that the formulations do not damage the surfaces and materials being treated.

The SONICA® range of detergents includes concentrated products designed to be diluted in small doses directly in tap water, as well as some ready-to-use solutions. Acidic, alkaline or neutral solutions are also available for a range of professional applications.
Depending on the type of detergent used, porcelain materials, metals of various kinds and plastics can be cleaned in a very short time.

The SONICA® range offers a broad range of liquids for different requirements, including for the most popular applications:
  • SONICA ML (light metals)
    For light metals, SOLTEC has developed a special alkaline detergent called SONICA® ML, which is particularly suitable for metals such as aluminium.
    Other alkaline cleaning products are suitable for removing vegetable and animal fats, while acidic detergents are suitable for removing rust and limescale.
  • SONICA PCB (electronics)
    SONICA PCB Cleaner for cleaning electronic circuit boards

    For the electronics industry, SOLTEC has developed a ready-to-use product called SONICA® PCB Cleaner, a detergent that is free from hazardous solvents and which is specifically designed for the rapid removal of solder paste residues, flux and various types of dirt found on electronic circuit boards.
    It is ideal for deep cleaning of both SMT-mounted boards and traditional boards.
    The product is alkaline with a pH of 11, and is recommended for use with ultrasound at a temperature of around 40°C.
  • SONICA CL4% (disinfectant)
    SOLTEC's constant research and experience in the medical field has enabled the company to develop a product called SONICA CL4%, with safe disinfectant efficacy and optimum cleaning properties, suitable for the correct treatment of surgical instruments in the hospital sector.
