SONICA® DW1 is a corrosion preventive and dewatering fluid which, when the solvent evaporates, forms a soft, waxy-oily film. This offers excellent corrosion protection, intensive dewatering properties, stability against dragged-in acids and alkaline along with being extremely economical.
SONICA® DW1 is recommended for the rapid drying and simultaneous protection of metal components and tools; after galvanizing and washing processes for the interim and long-term protection of bare metal surfaces.
SONICA® DW1 gives galvanized screws a consistent coefficient of friction. Even if the fastener is repeatedly retightened the torque variation remains minimal. The product allows automatic screw and nut drivers with preset torques to work with the utmost of accuracy and reliability.
SONICA® DW1 complies with the VW TL 52 111 and FORD SZ 600 A specifications concerning friction coefficients and additionally offers good corrosion protection.
